Exploratory phase ended
The one-year exploratory phase, which was carried out in close cooperation between the Weiz-Gleisdorf energy region, the University of Graz and Graz University of Technology, ended in September 2023. During this phase, intensive discussions were held with the mayors of the region in order to understand their perspectives and concerns in the field of mobility. Barriers and supporting factors on the part of mobility providers were also identified. Field visits provided a practical insight into the current situation on the ground, while the exchange with a buddy mobility lab provided valuable insights and best practices.
Although the project cannot be continued for the time being due to a lack of co-funding opportunities, we can still consider the exploratory phase to have been extremely successful. The insights gained and the collaboration between the partners involved have laid the foundations for future mobility innovations.
